In 1996 Reynald Ricard and Jean Marc Durante met while working together at high-end salon “Jaques Desange” located in Miami, Florida. It was obvious that they both shared a passion for the beauty and style that is their trade. In 1998, Reynald relocated to NYC to work at Frederic Fekkai while Jean Marc remained firmly rooted in South Florida. Ever the visionary for the truly aesthetic experience, Jean Marc opened the JMD salon in Bal Harbour Shops in 2002. Reynald followed suit by opening Red Market Salon with partner David Cotteblanche in New York City in 2005. Reynald continued to fly to Miami and Jean Marc’s JMD Salon once a month to service his many devoted South Florida clients.

A friendship quickly blossomed between the two men from the strong foundation of talent and dedicated service that makes this amazing team truly unique in the beauty industry. Jean Marc and Reynald recognized the potential for this friendship to evolve their talents into a cutting-edge Miami spa experience. Fusing their talent, passion and business acumen with a prime Bal Harbour location, the genius of a world-class Miami spa experience was born.

In combining JMD Salon at Bal Harbour Shops with the style and edge of Red Market, Jean Marc Durante and Reynald Ricard created the beauty utopia that is the best hair salon Miami has to offer, Red Market.

Red Market Salon in Miami is rated one of the top salons in South Florida and the best hair salon in the Aventura-Surfside-Miami Beach area. Reynald Ricard and Jean Marc Durante developed the concept for Red Market while working together at a Miami salon. Reynald eventually relocated to New York City while Durante remained devoted to his South Florida clientelle. In 2005, Durante opened his own salon in Miami with Reynald as his partner in New York: enter the concept of Red Market Miami Services.

Red Market is one of the top hair salons in the country. They are staffed with a dedicated, professional team committed to making you look gorgeous. The Red Market team has been trained globally in locations such as France, the United Kingdom, New York, Milan and others. Each individual team member is versatile with extensions, color and styling using only high-end techniques.

Jean Marc, stylist and owner of Red Market Miami, was born in France and has trained in prestigious academies in Paris and New York. Settling in South Florida, he has created one of the best beauty hair salons in the country. Stylist Reynald Ricard has worked in Paris, Casa Blanca, Morocco, Palm Beach and Miami.

Katia Cardon Bates, trained in Paris, has expertise in color, style and cut. Carlos Hernandez, originally from Cuba, has over 18 years of experience working with those in the public eye. Natalie Fabian is a colorist from New York City who has been perfecting her techniques for six years. Our stylist and makeup artist, Inga Svelnyte, is originally from Lithuania with over ten years of experience. She has worked in salons all throughout Europe and several Miami Salons. These eclectic and varied stylists and manicurists comprise the top styling team Miami has to offer.
