The latest video of Guadalupe Pineda featuring her daughter Mariana G. Pineda.

David Cotteblanche of Red Market NYC was honored to create a style for the duo that would embrace the poised and elegant nature of Pieneda and daughter, while maintaining the down to earth nature that allows the vocalists to remain familiar and connected with their audience. This case presented an intriguing challenge for David. Providing not one, but two looks that would softly complement each other rather than compete. The result: a heartfelt duet in voice and style.

Guadalupe Pineda came to be known as one of her native Mexico’s grassroots musical icons. Performing music from all over the Spanish-speaking world for audiences large and small, Pineda built a reputation and fan base, concert by concert, over the course of a career that spanned decades. Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Pineda early on relocated to Mexico City, where she studied sociology and political science before embarking on her career as a vocalist.
